The Peruvian Group for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism said this in a statement on July 21.

The statement said:

On July 27, 1953, the KPA and the Korean people brought to their knees the U.S. and its allies and won a great victory in the three-year Fatherland Liberation War under the leadership of President Kim Il Sung, iron-willed commander and outstanding strategist.

World progressives paid noble tribute to the President who won the victory in the war against the U.S. imperialists and warmly congratulated the army and people of the DPRK on shattering the myth of the U.S. "mightiness".

The U.S. and its henchmen are working hard to do harm to the sovereignty and dignity of the DPRK in the new century, too, far from drawing a lesson in the Korean War in the 1950s.

It is a sheer gangster-like logic that the U.S. and its followers are describing their nuclear weapons and missiles as "means for protecting world peace" and the nuclear deterrent of the DPRK as "threat to global peace".

The U.S. should stop all military actions threatening the peace on the Korean peninsula and in the world.

We extend full support and solidarity to the Korean people's standoff with the U.S.
