Pyongyang, August 1 (KCNA) -- South Korean legal scholars held a press conference in Seoul on July 28 insisting on the validity of the institution of a special law on the ferry Sewol, according to the south Korean internet paper Voice of People. At the press conference speakers accused the "Saenuri Party" of blocking the institution of a special law, taking issue with the formation of a fact-finding committee for probing the truth about the ferry Sewol. They blasted the "Saenuri Party" for opposing the issue of giving the right to investigation to the fact-finding committee, asserting that it would "disturb the legal system". The fact-finding committee should look into all data on the disaster unhindered, they held. |
