Munsu Water Park in Pyongyang Packed with Citizens

Pyongyang, August 1 (KCNA) -- The Munsu Water Park in Pyongyang, the capital city of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, is now crowded with visitors everyday. The Park is located on the scenic bank of the Taedong River. It, with a total floor space of 109 000 square meters, has such various types of water slides as wavy slide, coaster-style slide and nose-dive slide. July and August are the months for maritime physical culture in the country. On this occasion, citizens of all ages and both sexes come to the Park to enjoy themselves at its wading pools. The small water park for children there is packed with overjoyed children almost everyday. Hyon Yong Sik, a workshop head of the Park, told KCNA: At present 10 000 people a day visit here to spend a pleasant time. Many of them would be unaware of the passage of time while playing in water. They are very grateful to the respected Marshal Kim Jong Un for having provided such pleasure to them. |
