No matter how frequently a generation is replaced by another and how much water may flow under the bridge, the character and nature of the WPK as the party of the leader will be invariably preserved. Herein lie the loyalty to the leader and the real picture of the revolutionary party.

For the WPK, Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism serves as the ideological and moral foundation for consolidating the single-minded unity of the party and the revolutionary ranks and a militant weapon for dynamically leading the confrontation with the U.S. and the struggle for the final victory in building a thriving nation.

The WPK is organizing and conducting the party building and all its activities, and firmly preparing all party members as backbone Kimilsungists-Kimjongilists, regarding Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism as its guidelines. The WPK will invariably adhere to the revolutionary character as the party of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il no matter how the world and the situation may change.
