The Korean people brought the U.S. imperialists to their knees in the Korean war because the army and people of the DPRK turned out as one in the sacred and just struggle to defend the country from the aggression by the U.S. imperialists under the leadership of President Kim Il Sung, the statement said.

61 years have passed since the war but the U.S. is working hard to ignite the second Korean war while persisting in its hostile policy toward the DPRK, it noted.

The Korean People's Army led by Marshal Kim Jong Un, the great Songun brilliant commander, will wipe out all the aggressors if the U.S. imperialists unleash a war, it said.

It noted that the only way of ensuring peace on the Korean peninsula is to have the U.S. forces withdrawn from south Korea, replace the Armistice Agreement by a peace one and reunify Korea independently and peacefully.
