The editorial recalled that the floor leader of the "Saenuri Party" on July 30 admonished the opposition party to take a responsible attitude toward a special law on the ferry Sewol according to law and principle.

This is an arrogant and shameless act as it made clear its stand to evade the political situation on the ferry Sewol disaster, the editorial said.

His remarks mean to deny the proposal of the opposition party on giving the right to investigation to the fact-finding committee, it added.
