The typhoon left seven people dead in Chongdo of North Kyongsang Province and several others dead or wounded in Kochang of South Kyongsang Province, Wando and Ryosu of South Jolla Province and on Jeju Island.

Dwelling houses were submerged and many hectares of cropland were inundated in Posong and Kohung of South Jolla Province.

The typhoon also destroyed roads in the areas of Janghung, Sunchon and Kwangyang of South Jolla Province.

Electricity supply to more than 13 000 dwelling houses was suspended in Kwangju City, South Jolla and South Kyongsang provinces and on Jeju Island.
