August 25 which marks the 54th anniversary of Kim Jong Il's start of the Songun revolutionary leadership is a day of special significance for us.

Kim Jong Il visited the Seoul Ryu Kyong Su Guards 105th Tank Division of the Korean People's Army on August 25, 1960.

Since then, he had inspected many units of the KPA, wisely leading the army to fulfill its mission and role in defending the country and building socialism.

Thanks to his energetic Songun leadership, the revolutionary soldier spirit was created in the DPRK and there began in society a dynamic movement for learning from the fighting spirit and traits of the army.

The secretary general of the above-said association stressed that it was the greatest exploit of Kim Jong Il in the Songun revolutionary leadership that he provided the powerful war deterrent.

A professor of University of London said:

Shortly ago, I was requested by the university to give a lecture on the guiding idea of the DPRK.

The biggest interest of teachers and students of the university was that how the DPRK is standing firm against the U.S., undeterred by the latter's moves to stifle the former though other countries could not hold out even a year under such situation.

If I have an opportunity to lecture on the DPRK's Songun politics before them, I will let them know all about the ideological and moral treasures and monumental structures created by the KPA in the course of upholding Kim Jong Il's Songun politics.

It is my duty to let them properly know about Kim Jong Il's Songun politics.
