An article of Rodong Sinmun Wednesday says that entirely just is the stand of the KPA whereby it declared that it would bring a shower of retaliatory fire to the warmongers at home and abroad keen to ignite a war of aggression against the DPRK at any cost while challenging the sincere efforts made by the DPRK for reconciliation and unity of the nation and the peace and reunification of the country.

The DPRK's access to the powerful nuclear force was its own option for defending its sovereignty and peace, the article says, and goes on:

The U.S. has frequently staged big and small nuclear war exercises targeting the DPRK after systematically introducing nuclear weapons to south Korea from long ago and has escalated the scale of those exercises, steadily posing nuclear threats to the DPRK.

The U.S. and the south Korean puppet forces are deliberately escalating tension while calling the projected Ulji Freedom Guardian joint military exercises detailed part of the "tailored deterrence strategy".

The danger of the outbreak of a nuclear war is increasing on the Korean Peninsula every moment due to the U.S. and the puppet warmongers.

They had better think twice about at what great peril their nuclear war drills targeted against the DPRK would put their fate.

Should the warmongers at home and abroad dare ignite a war despite the repeated warnings of the DPRK, they will perish in the flames of the nuclear war started by themselves.
