At the hearing on appeal, too, held in the wake of first trial, the prosecution insisted on far-fetched assertions about the faked-up case, failing to produce clear evidence proving the attempted rebellion, it said.

It disclosed the fact that a prosecutor in charge of the case is being investigated on the suspicion that he was bribed.

The criminal who should be judged is orchestrating such a tragicomedy as shamelessly discussing penalties, talking about "security", it charged.

The editorial called upon all the fair-minded forces to turn out as one for a proper judgment of the case.
