Monuments to Revolutionary Activities of Peerless Great Men Erected at Different Units

Pyongyang, August 6 (KCNA) -- Monuments to revolutionary activities of the peerless great men of Mt. Paektu and a monument to their on-the-spot guidance have been erected at the Mangyongdae Aeguk Aluminum Sash Factory, the Hamhung Knitwear Factory and the Pyongyang Hosiery Factory. The monument at the aluminum sash factory deals with the fact that President Kim Il Sung visited it on March 9, Juche 76 (1987) and instructed it to keep balance among production processes, increase the sash production capacity and produce aluminum frames complicated in forms and small in sizes. The monument at the knitwear factory tells the story that he provided field guidance to it in May, 1957 during which he instructed it to positively introduce advanced technologies, improve the quality of knitwear and take good care of its employees. The monument conveys the story that leader Kim Jong Il visited it in December, 2011 and underscored the need to turn it into a model factory with high-speed cutting-edge equipment, boost the production of quality knitwear and supply products to the people. The monument at the hosiery factory tells the story that Kim Jong Il and supreme leader Kim Jong Un visited it on December 10, 2010 and July 2, 2012 and stressed the need to scrupulously manage equipment and improve technical control, enhance the technical skills of the workers and increase the production of quality hosieries through a mass technological innovation movement. |
