S. Korean Ruling Party's Hypocritical Compensation under Fire

Pyongyang, August 7 (KCNA) -- The Measure Committee of the Families of Victims, Missing Persons and Survivors of the Ferry Sewol Sinking Accident of south Korea held a press conference outside the puppet National Assembly building on August 4 protesting against the "Saenuri Party's" hypocritical farce for compensation, according to Yonhap News of south Korea.

At the press conference speakers recalled that the "Saenuri Party" decided to form an ad hoc committee for supporting victims of the ferry Sewol disaster.

They said that what the bereaved families want is the probe into the truth about the disaster, neither reparation nor compensation.

The presidential chief of staff of Chongwadae and others should present themselves as witnesses to probe the truth, they held.

The Council of Professors for Democracy and other teachers organizations held a press conference at the Kwanghwamun plaza on the same day and demanded the unhindered probe into the truth about the disaster and the institution of a special law.
