U.S.-S. Korea Projected Joint Military Exercises Condemned by Korean in China

Pyongyang, August 7 (KCNA) -- Kim Chong Su, vice-chairman of the Jilin Regional Association of the General Association of Koreans in China, released an article on August 1 supporting the statement issued by a spokesman for the National Peace Committee of Korea denouncing the U.S. imperialists and south Korean puppet warmongers for their moves to kick off Ulji Freedom Guardian joint military exercises.

The article said that the DPRK has made consistent efforts to defuse tensions while demanding a halt to the nuclear war exercises.

The U.S., however, is going to stage the joint military exercises while seeking only confrontation and war so that a war may break out anytime, the article said, and went on:

The U.S. and other hostile forces following it should stop acting rash, clearly understanding the DPRK with powerful military muscle.

The south Korean authorities should come to their senses, positively accept the just proposals of the DPRK and opt for achieving the national reconciliation and cooperation, though belatedly.

The Koreans in China together with all Koreans aspiring after peace on the Korean peninsula and the world peace-loving people will fight it out against the U.S. imperialists and other hostile forces following them.
