He said that thanks to the wise leadership of President Ho Chi Minh and President Kim Il Sung, the bilateral relations have developed with deep roots, adding that it is the consistent stand of the Vietnamese party and state to boost the bilateral relations as taught by the preceding leaders.

The Vietnamese party and government always remember the material and moral assistance rendered by the party and government of the DPRK to the Vietnamese people in the difficult period including anti-U.S. resistance for national salvation and feel grateful for it, he said.

Noting that Vietnam admires the successes being achieved by the Korean people in their efforts to ensure the security of the country, develop the economy and improve the people's standard of living under the wise guidance of Marshal Kim Jong Un, he affirmed the invariable stand of the party and government of Vietnam that Korea should be reunified independently and peacefully free from foreign interference.

He hoped that both countries would make joint efforts to boost the bilateral relations in political and economic and various other fields on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries next year.
