Harsh Treatment in S. Korean Marine Corps Disclosed
|
|
Pyongyang, August 9 (KCNA) -- Such inhuman acts as privates second class forcing privates first class to lick toilet bowls or fisting their heads and beating them for failing to keep them clean occurred several times at the 1st Division of the south Korean puppet Marine Corps, according to the disclosures made by Yonhap News and Munhwa Ilbo of south Korea on August 7. They put pressure on those inferiors in revenge for informing their officers of the human rights abuses committed against them. The victims wrote to their families that they wanted to commit suicides, unable to endure such horrible pain any longer. Violence, murder and inhuman treatment can never be rooted out in the puppet army as long as the jungle law prevails in the south Korean society. |
