It was attended by figures from all walks of life and citizens of Kyoto and Koreans in Japan.

Masaaki Arimoto, Osaka co-representative of the Citizens Solidarity Demanding Earlier Normalization of the Relations between Japan and the DPRK, and other speakers told about the experience gained by the citizens' organizations in the solidarity movement for realizing normalization of the relations between the two countries and the impressions of the DPRK by Japanese from all walks of life after their recent visits to it.

That the two peoples visit each other's countries is just the road to bringing earlier the rosy future of the exchanges between the two countries, they said, underlining the need to make more Japanese have proper understanding of the DPRK through their visits to Pyongyang.
