Rodong Sinmun in an article says that UFG is an unpardonable military provocation against the DPRK as it is a revelation of the sinister scenario to ignite a nuclear war against the DPRK.

This scenario to lead their military pressure upon the DPRK to an adventurous preemptive nuclear strike at it has already been disclosed, the article notes, and goes on:

Who can vouch that the warmongers at home and abroad will not escalate their offensive drills into actual battles while staging them with the involvement of huge forces and sophisticated nuclear strike means enough to wage a large-scale war?

This is becoming more likely under the situation where they are going to kick off UFG against the backdrop of the prevailing unprecedented tensions.

The prevailing situation goes to prove that the warmongers at home and abroad have already made the outbreak of a nuclear war an established fact and are putting spurs to it.

If a new war breaks out on the Korean peninsula due to the aggressors' reckless military provocations, it will spill over into an all-out nuclear war.

The DPRK can never remain a passive onlooker to the reckless moves of the puppet military gangsters to ignite a nuclear war while posing a serious military threat to it in conclusion with foreign forces.

Minju Joson notes in a commentary: It is quite possible for the U.S. to ignite a war of aggression against the DPRK as the former is steeped in the inveterate repugnance towards the latter and blinded with wild ambition for world domination. But the U.S. would be well advised to stop its rash acts, properly understanding who its rival is.
