Speaker of Myanmar Parliament Meets DPRK Government Delegation

Pyongyang, August 12 (KCNA) -- Shwe Mann, chairman of the Union Solidarity and Development Party of Myanmar and speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, met and had a talk with the DPRK government delegation headed by Foreign Minister Ri Su Yong on a visit to Myanmar at the building of the Parliament on Monday.

He said he would make positive efforts to boost the bilateral relations in the future, too. He expressed the will to develop the relations between the Workers' Party of Korea and the Union Solidarity and Development Party of Myanmar.

Present there were the deputy speaker of the Lower House and other officials concerned of Myanmar, the DPRK ambassador to Myanmar and a staff member of his embassy.
