Published at the presentation, divided into panels of mathematics, physics, dynamics, laser and geography, were more than 550 papers presented by Kim Il Sung University, Kim Chaek University of Technology, Kim Hyong Jik University of Education, University of Sciences, the Mathematics Research Institute of the State Academy of Sciences and other units.

Participants introduced the recent successes and experience made in the researches of the field of basic science to make a contribution to building an economic power.

Papers presented by Kim Il Sung University and Pyongyang University of Mechanical Engineering were highly estimated in the field of mathematics and physics, those by Kim Chaek University of Technology in the field of dynamics, those by the Laser Research Institute in the laser field and those by an institute of the State Academy of Sciences and other units in the field of geography.

A prize-awarding ceremony took place there.
