An awarding ceremony took place at the Mansudae Assembly Hall Wednesday.

The title of candidate academician was awarded to Kang In Sik, teacher of Kim Il Sung University, Ko Chol Hun, director of an institute of the Academy of Social Sciences, and Kwon Jae Jong, researcher of the State Science and Technology Commission.

Professorship went to Yun Jong Chol, researcher of Kim Il Sung University, Song Ye Ok, department head of Pyongyang Medical College of Kim Il Sung University, Kim Sun Myong, director of the Post-graduate Course of Kim Chaek University of Technology, Ri Kwang Il, researcher of Pyongyang Jang Chol Gu University of Commerce, and others.

Doctorate was awarded to Department Head Pak Jong Ho, teacher Pak Un Sun and researcher Paek Hak Ryong of Kim Il Sung University, Department Head Cha Ki Chol and teacher Jon Ryong Ho of Kim Hyong Jik University of Education, Deputy Faculty Dean Ri Pok Gyu, Department Head Hyon Song Chol, Section Chief Kim Pyong Hun, teacher Pak Sang Su and researcher Sin Ok Chol of Kim Chaek University of Technology and others.

Assistant professorship went to 148 persons.
