Candlelight Demo against Visit to Yasukuni Shrine Staged by Organizations of S. Korea, Japan

| Pyongyang, August 13 (KCNA) -- Civic organizations of south Korea and Japan staged a candlelight demonstration around the Yasukuni Shrine on August 9 in protest against the visit to the shrine, according to KBS of south Korea. The organizations said that the Yasukuni Shrine was served for the political purpose to deny the past history of aggression and beautify the war crimes. They urged the Japanese ministers to stop visiting the shrine where remains of war criminals are entombed. |
