Book "Leader and Comrades-in-Arms in Anti-Japanese War" (1) Published in DPRK

Pyongyang, August 14 (KCNA) -- The DPRK published the book "Leader and Comrades-in-Arms in Anti-Japanese War" (1) on the occasion of the 69th anniversary of Korea's liberation. The book deals with stories that President Kim Il Sung brought up passionate young intellectuals and children of workers and farmers as revolutionaries, able politico-military commanding officers and able officials in the crucible of the revolutionary struggle. It also deals with the facts proving the loyalty of the anti-Japanese revolutionary fighters to the President. Under the titles "First chief of staff of our revolutionary armed forces" and "Commanding officer who remained a soldier all his life" the book tells about the efforts made by Cha Kwang Su and Kim Chaek to perform their missions and obligations as true revolutionary comrades and comrades-in-arms of the President till the last moments of their lives. The book tells about the shining life of Rim Chun Chu and Choe Chun Guk who set examples in carrying out the order of the leader as his soldiers and the path covered by Kim Song Guk, Choe Yong Jin and Kim Kyong Sok who grew up to be competent military and political officers while displaying courage in the anti-Japanese war and the Fatherland Liberation War. It also deals with stories about Kang Wi Ryong and Im Chol who performed shining feats in devotedly defending the leader, remaining loyal to the leader, the country and its people as soldiers and Ri Kye Sun who met a heroic death, being known to posterity as a true daughter of the Korean nation and a fine model of women revolutionaries. |
