Seen standing before the statues on Mansu Hill was a floral basket sent by Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, first chairman of the DPRK National Defence Commission and supreme commander of the Korean People's Army.

Placed before the statues were floral baskets in the name of the party, armed forces and power organs, social organizations, ministries, national institutions, units of the KPA and the KPISF, and institutions, enterprises, factories, farms and schools in Pyongyang and bouquets and flowers.

The participants paid tribute to the statues in humble reverence.

Floral baskets, bouquets and flowers were laid before the statues of the President and Kim Jong Il at Kim Il Sung University, Kim Il Sung Military University, the Ministry of the People's Armed Forces, the Ministry of the People's Security, the Mansudae Art Studio and other parts of the city.

Service personnel, working people and youth and students across the country paid tribute to the statues and portraits of the smiling President and Kim Jong Il in their residential areas.
