A ceremony of seeing off the group took place.

Present there were Kim Song Gun, secretary general of the Kaesong City People's Committee, Ri Song Gon, deputy director of the Agency of Overseas Korean Affairs, officials concerned and members of the car riding group.

Speeches were made there.

Speakers said that the group demonstrated at home and abroad the will of the Korean nation for national reunification while passing through different areas of the DPRK with ardent desire to contribute to peace and reunification of the Korean peninsula.

They stressed that they would make all efforts for the national reconciliation and unity and national reunification in the future, too.

The group crossed the Military Demarcation Line.

Prior to it, the group visited Panmunjom.

The members of the group looked round the monument inscribed with President Kim Il Sung's signature conveying the noble intention of loving the country and nation by the President who left his last sign on the historic document for putting an end to the tragedy of national division and achieving the cause of national reunification.

They went round the meeting room of armistice talks, the hall where the armistice agreement was signed and Phanmun Pavilion.

They also went round the Koryo Museum.
