Displayed in the exhibition were lots of inventions and new technological innovation proposals made by young people.

Present at the opening ceremony were Jang Chol, president of the State Academy of Sciences, officials concerned and those of the youth league and young scientists and technicians.

Jon Yong Nam, chairman of the Central Committee of the youth league, made an opening address.

He said that the exhibition would offer an important occasion to widely introduce the latest scientific and technological achievements gained in the youth science and technology march and mass technological innovation movement and generalize them and thus demonstrate the might of the Korean youth who are guaranteeing the building of a thriving nation with science and technology.
