They urged the south Korean "government" to institute a special law on probing the truth about the disaster as demanded by the bereaved families and other people.

They said they would turn out in the action to institute the special law, sharing the intention with the bereaved families who had been out in a hunger strike till the truth behind the disaster will be probed.

Meanwhile, Koreans in the U.S. carried a full ad denouncing the puppet authorities for causing the disaster on the August 17 issue of New York Times.

They termed the ferry Sewol sinking disaster is the one caused by avarice, corruption and incompetence of the regime.

They called upon people from all walks of life to turn out in the signature campaign supporting the special law.
