Austrian Organization Condemns US-S. Korea Joint Military Exercises

Pyongyang, August 21 (KCNA) -- The Solidarity Committee of Unionists for the Peaceful Reunification of Korea in Austria on Aug. 15 released a statement in denunciation of the projected U.S.-south Korea joint military exercises, Ulji Freedom Guardian.

The statement said:

We demand the U.S. and south Korean authorities cancel the projected Ulji Freedom Guardian targeting the DPRK.

It is absurd for the present ruling forces of south Korea to attempt to create the danger of a war against the DPRK through war exercises.

We demand the U.S. stage military exercises in its country and on its territory.

We urge the south Korean ruling forces to have dialogue with the DPRK and stop putting the Korean nation into the danger of war any longer.
