Merciless preemptive strike is the legitimate and best option of the revolutionary armed forces of the DPRK against the nuclear war maniacs, Rodong Sinmun Thursday says in an article, and goes on:

It was already disclosed that the "tailored deterrence strategy" which the U.S. imperialists and south Korean puppet forces are to apply under the simulated conditions of a real war is aimed to mount a preemptive nuclear strike in essence as it is the stage-by-stage strategy pursuant to "nuclear threat" from the DPRK. This is little short of declaring a nuclear war against the DPRK.

If the DPRK beats the U.S. imperialists and south Korean puppet forces, they should be hard hit without excuse and if the DPRK is determined, large and small bases of aggression should be reduced to a sea of flames and ashes. This is the steadfast stand and resolute answer of the army and people of the DPRK to cope with UFG.

The U.S. imperialists and south Korean warmongers are watching for a chance to mount a preemptive nuclear attack on the DPRK at any cost. Under this condition the DPRK should settle accounts with them.

They are describing UFG as "defensive and annual one" while making it a fait accompli to ignite a nuclear war despite the sincere efforts of the DPRK for peace on the Korean peninsula. This is the shameless and brigandish sophism.

They would be well advised to stop acting rashly and think twice if they do not want to realize in miserable death and scream that the DPRK does what it is determined once.
