Hwang Myong, chairman of the Tokyo Metropolitan Headquarters of Chongryon, demanded an immediate halt to the joint military exercises to which the "tailored deterrent strategy" aimed to mount a preemptive nuclear attack on the DPRK is formally applied.

He warned that the U.S. and south Korean authorities should stop acting rashly, clearly realizing that the DPRK and the world peace-loving people will not remain a passive onlooker to the reckless moves for igniting a nuclear war against the DPRK.

Ri Thae Hyong, chairman of the Hiroshima Prefectural Headquarters of Chongryon, condemned UFG as a nuclear war drill targeting the DPRK as it is involved by huge armed forces enough to fight a war.

He demanded the U.S. stop at once its reckless nuclear war racket and withdraw its aggression forces from south Korea.

He said he would arouse all Koreans in the prefecture to the struggle to defend peace of the country and open an epochal phase of national reunification.
