Kim Tong Son, vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea who is also vice-chairman of the Korean Committee for Solidarity with Cuba, officials concerned and employees of the factory were on hand.

Speeches were made at the meeting.

Kim Tong Son said the Cuban people have covered the road of victory, honorably defending their country and gains of revolution from all moves of the enemies under the leadership of the Communist Party of Cuba.

The Korean people will always stand by the Cuban people on the same trench of the anti-imperialist, anti-U.S. struggle, he added.

The Cuban ambassador said the friendly relations between the two countries provided and developed by their preceding leaders are growing stronger thanks to Marshal Kim Jong Un.

The struggle of the heroic Korean people for smashing the U.S. moves to isolate and stifle the DPRK and achieving the peaceful reunification of the country has become a model of the world progressives, he stressed.

Prior to the meeting, staff members of the embassy went round Kim Jong Suk Pyongyang Textile Mill.
