The new sauna gel is made with vegetable materials abundant in the country, said Ro Jae Hyok, deputy director of the health complex who developed the gel, when interviewed by KCNA.

He said that he paid deep attention to a kind of vegetable material which the Korean nation has used for treatment and prevention of diseases from long ago.

I had compiled the technical indexes to develop the gel with great efficacy and high rate of absorption into body, he said, adding that it was registered as one of national patents.

The gel has a good effect on softening skin and preventing skin aging.

Ro also developed shampoo and hair conditioner which are popular among visitors.

His products were presented to the 13th national exhibition of inventions and new technologies.
