De-nationalization of Healthcare Opposed in S. Korea

Pyongyang, August 22 (KCNA) -- The Headquarters of the All-People Movement for Checking De-nationalization of Healthcare of south Korea held a press conference outside Chongwadae on August 19 denouncing the puppet authorities for trying to de-nationalize healthcare, according to Voice of People, an internet paper of south Korea.

At the press conference speakers condemned the authorities for more undisguisedly pushing forward the de-nationalization of healthcare by announcing that they would additionally ease restrictions in the field of healthcare.

This is a dangerous policy of reducing healthcare to a means of capitalists for seeking profits, they charged.

Recalling that two million people signed papers in protest against the de-nationalization of healthcare, they urged the regime to respond to their demand.

If the authorities push forward the de-nationalization of healthcare, the organization will stage a dynamic action to put an end to de-nationalization, including workers' general strike and an all-people rally, they warned.
