Participants in the meeting laid a bouquet before the statues of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il in Wonsan City and paid tribute to them.

Present at the meeting were the captain and crewmen of Dong Feng 6.

Speeches were made there.

Speakers recalled that Kim Jong Il worked heart and soul to bolster up the defence capability of the country, making ceaseless journeys to inspect forefront units including those on Chol Pass and Mt. Osong despite rain or snow to protect the destiny of the country and its people.

He built invincible military muscle and achieved great army-people unity with his outstanding idea and through his wise leadership for over half a century, thus successfully leading the struggle for defending socialism and building a thriving nation, they noted, adding:

The Songun politics of the DPRK is now being carried forward and developed on a fresh higher stage by Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Thanks to his profound loving care, the Korean people invariably remain true to the idea and intention of Kim Jong Il and the revolutionary ranks are growing stronger as the most genuine and solid harmonious whole.

Only victory and glory will be in store for the service personnel and people of the DPRK who are advancing under the leadership of Kim Jong Un.

A letter to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the meeting.
