They included a lecture and photo exhibition in Guinea and a book exhibition and film show in Nigeria and Iran on Aug. 18 and 19.

Displayed there were photos showing the Songun leadership exploits of President Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Works of the peerless great men of Mt. Paektu and photos and books introducing Songun Korea were also on show.

Films shown included Korean film "Arms of Korea".

The director general of the Kim Il Sung Institute of Agricultural Science in Guinea said:

Kim Jong Il enriched the Songun idea founded by Kim Il Sung, father of socialist Korea, and established the political mode based on Songun.

He perfectly prepared the Korean People's Army politically and ideologically and in military technique and bolstered up the military power of the country at the highest level by paying primary attention to developing the national defence industry.

So, the KPA developed into a matchless army with strong nuclear deterrence.

A Guinean personage said the exploits Kim Jong Il performed by providing an eternal foundation for the prosperity of the country and nation with his outstanding and tested leadership will remain shining along with the Day of Songun.

The director of the sci-tech department of the Ministry of Education in Yobe State, Nigeria praised Kim Jong Il for performing great undying exploits on behalf of the country and revolution, the era and history, holding aloft the banner of Songun.

After watching a Korean film, the director of a company in Iran said he more keenly realized that the DPRK has become a political and military power that no one dares provoke, thanks to the Songun politics.
