Anders Kristensen, chairman of the association, noted this in a statement on August 18.

Despite the repeated warnings served by the DPRK to stop war drills that may render the situation on the peninsula extremely tense, the U.S. kicked off the joint war drills together with the south Korean puppet forces, the statement said, adding:

The U.S. seeks to stifle the DPRK by force of arms and disturb its economic development by staging the mad-cap nuclear war drills with a lot of WMDs and troops involved.

The war drills are, from A to Z, aimed to "change the power in the north".

The U.S. has staged the war drills in an evermore undisguised manner under the excuse of "nuclear threat" from the north.

This will only result in escalating tensions on the Korean peninsula and in the rest of Northeast Asia
