August 25 is a significant day which marks the 54th anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's start of the Songun revolutionary leadership by giving field guidance to the Seoul Ryu Kyong Su Guards 105th Tank Division of the Korean People's Army.

He faithfully carried forward the Juche-based cause of building the armed forces and the Songun revolutionary leadership pioneered by President Kim Il Sung, developed the heroic Korean People's Army into the invincible revolutionary forces perfect in terms of weaponry and equipment and in the political and ideological aspects over the past 50 years.

Under the Songun revolutionary leadership of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il the KPA reliably defended the gains of socialism and the DPRK turned into a military power capable of shattering any aggression.

The great Songun revolutionary line and traditions are being successfully carried forward by Marshal Kim Jong Un.

We are glad to celebrate the 54th anniversary of Kim Jong Il's start of the Songun revolutionary leadership, sincerely wishing the Korean people successes in the future, too.
