S. Korean Puppet Political Camp Urged to Opt for Instituting Special Law
Pyongyang, August 26 (KCNA) -- Voice of People, an internet paper of south Korea, on August 21 in an editorial demanded the puppet political camp opt for instituting a special law on probing the truth about the ferry Sewol disaster.

The editorial recalled that the bereaved families objected two times to the agreement made by the ruling and opposition parties on the special law for probing the truth about the ferry Sewol disaster.

Noting that the reason is clear, the editorial disclosed that the political camp produced a draft agreement at negotiations held behind closed doors without a prior consultation with the bereaved families and put pressure on them to accept it.

Now is the time for the "president" to give an answer, it noted.

It urged the chief executive to show her sincerity if the promise made by her in her talk to the people is not a lie.

The south Korean newspaper Hangyore on August 20 carried a similar editorial.

The "Saenuri Party" let loose a spate of remarks that "there is no renegotiation ", "there is no proposal to fully meet the demand of the bereaved families" and "how can victims investigate assailants" only to spark off mistrust of the bereaved families, it said.

What is the most important and indispensable element is to have the demands of the bereaved families reflected in the institution of the special law on the ferry Sewol, it noted.
