S. Korea Hit by Torrential Rain

| Pyongyang, August 27 (KCNA) -- The areas of Pusan and Changwon of South Kyongsang Province, south Korea were hit by torrential rain over 100 mm per hour on August 25, according to MBC of south Korea. It left several people dead in Pusan. Houses collapsed, railway service was suspended and power station stopped its operation. Water swollen by strong downpour in Jindong-myon, Changwon City, South Kyongsang Province swept away a bus, leaving a woman dead and several persons missing. |
