Rodong Sinmun Thursday in an editorial on the Youth Day sends greetings to millions of young Korean people who are enjoying their worthwhile lives in the posts for defending the country and the work sites for building a thriving nation.

The editorial says:

The Youth Day serves as an important occasion in demonstrating the revolutionary character, organizing ability, unity and indomitable spirit of the Songun young vanguard advancing straight and dynamically under the leadership of the party while glorifying the proud history and tradition of the Korean youth movement.

From the first period when he embarked upon the road of the revolution President Kim Il Sung regarded the youth problem as an important one related to the victory of the revolution and the destiny of the nation and led the youth movement along the most correct path.

Leader Kim Jong Il pursued the politics of attaching importance to the youth and loving the future, creating the contemporary example in solving the youth problem, true to the noble intention of the President.

Marshal Kim Jong Un, possessed of the noble view on the rising generation as his inborn disposition, is successfully carrying forward and developing the idea of the President and Kim Jong Il on attaching importance to the youth and their exploits.

In the era of Kim Jong Un the ideological and mental traits of young Korean people are being put onto a nobler stage.

Now they are devoting their all to the struggle to glorify the socialist country dignified with independence and strong with Songun as the most powerful country in the world.

In other countries young people obsessed by luxury, vanity, degeneration and depravity bring shadow to the future of nation but in the DPRK young people are becoming the pioneers in creating socialist civilization.

Only victory and glory will always be in store for the young Korean people advancing straight and dynamically under the leadership of the party, loudly singing the song "March of Korean Youth".
