Kim Yong Nam, Pak Pong Ju, Kim Ki Nam, Choe Thae Bok, Choe Ryong Hae, Pak To Chun, Yang Hyong Sop, Kang Sok Ju, Kim Phyong Hae, Kwak Pom Gi, O Su Yong, Ro Tu Chol and officials in Pyongyang and local areas visited industrial establishments, farms and universities to congratulate the young people.

They included Kim Il Sung University, Taean Heavy Machine Complex, Mansudae Art Studio, Pyongyang University of Architecture, Pyongyang Thermal Power Complex, Mangyongdae Vegetable Farm in Mangyongdae District, Pyongyang Essential Foodstuff Factory, Kim Jong Suk Pyongyang Textile Mill, Jangchon Vegetable Co-op Farm in Sadong District, Sangwon Cement Complex and the Chollima Steel Complex.

The officials together with young people placed floral baskets and bouquets before the statues of the peerless great persons of Mt. Paektu, portraits of smiling President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il, mosaics depicting their images and monuments to their revolutionary activities and paid tribute to them.

They went round revolutionary museums, rooms dedicated to the education in revolutionary history, rooms dedicated to the history of those industrial establishments, farms and universities, worksites and classrooms.

They met exemplary officials and members of the youth league and encouraged them, requesting them to demonstrate the honor of creators of miracles and innovations and pioneers breaking through the cutting edge on all fronts for the building of a thriving nation.

The young people spent the holiday, singing and dancing full of joy and optimism and playing sports and amusement games and colorful cultural events.
