Pyongyang, August 29 (KCNA) -- Researchers of Kim Chaek University of Technology in the DPRK developed near infrared spectrum analyzer with their own technology and efforts. The analyzer measures the intensity of reflected rays after it irradiates a sample with monochromatic light of 1,000-2,500nm in wavelength. This computer-controlled device helps analyze the content of ingredients of various organic matters quickly and accurately. It can be used in various economic fields including foodstuff, chemistry and livestock. The analyzer won a high appreciation at the recent 13th National Exhibition of Inventions and New Technologies. |
