Educational institutions at all levels presented to the exhibition thousands of experimental apparatuses, equipment and teaching aids that can help students acquire practical knowledge.

Also presented to the education aid exhibition were different type educational equipment, materials for managing schools and apparatuses for experiment and practice provided by ministries, national institutions and industrial establishments across the country.

Present at the opening ceremony were Vice-Premier Kim Yong Jin, Han Kwang Bok, department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials of ministries and national institutions, those in the field of education, teachers and kindergarteners.

Kim Sung Du, chairman of the Education Commission, made an opening address.
