The bulletin in an article titled "September 9, birthday of DPRK" noted:

We again recollect the history of the founding of the DPRK with the approach of September 9.

President Kim Il Sung convened the historic Joint Conference of Representatives of Political Parties and Social Organizations in North and South Korea in Pyongyang in April, 1948, at which he indicated the tasks to be fulfilled by the Korean people in their efforts to set up an all-Korea unified democratic government.

This led to an all-Korea general election.

Kim Il Sung declared before the whole world the founding of the DPRK on September 9.

The founding of the DPRK marked an event of great significance in the history of socialist Korea.

Everybody in the DPRK has a stable job and never knows unemployment.

The state provides the people with dwelling houses and taxation was abolished a long time ago in the DPRK. Free education and healthcare are in force there.

However, the situation in south Korea is quite contrary to this.

All the people in the DPRK are turning out in the drive for building a thriving nation.
