Seen standing before the grave was a wreath sent by Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, first chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK and supreme commander of the Korean People's Army.

Present at the wreath-laying ceremony were Kim Ki Nam, Yang Hyong Sop, O Su Yong, Im Chol Ung, vice-premier of the Cabinet, officials of party and power organs, working people's organizations, ministries, national institutions and educational bodies and working people in the city.

A wreath was placed before the grave in the name of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.

Also laid before the grave were wreaths in the name of working people's organizations, ministries, national institutions, revolutionary schools, educational bodies, and party and power organs and farms in Pyongyang.

The participants observed a moment's silence in memory of the noble life of Kim Po Hyon.
