One year has passed since the case of the attempted rebellion occurred, stunning the world, the editorial said, adding that the people are expressing antipathy towards the Intelligence Service and the present regime which faked up the case and abused it for their political purpose.

In a recent opinion poll an overwhelming majority of respondents expressed sympathy with the assertion that if there was no attempted rebellion, agitation for rebellion should not be regarded as a guilt, the editorial held.

As regards the final hearing on an appeal over the case of the attempted rebellion at which the court sentenced those related to the case to heavy penalties including nine years in prison, the public condemned it as a politically-motivated trial as the court read the face of the regime, the editorial charged.

The past one year proves that truth cannot be concealed and teaches a lesson that the Intelligence Service and the security forces should not be allowed to "persist in their racket for labeling people followers of the north", it held.
