The statement said:

The Democratic People's Republic of Korea is regarding independence as the life of the country and nation.

In its external activities it is developing friendly relations with all countries of the world respecting its sovereignty and advancing toward a new independent world freed from aggression, intervention, domination over other countries and subjugation.

The DPRK is a country with invincible military muscle.

The Korean People's Army has been firmly prepared politically, ideologically and in military technique and the all-people, all-state defence system with it as a core has been firmly established.

What is noteworthy in particular is the fact that the DPRK set forth the strategic line on simultaneously pushing forward economic construction and the building of nuclear force to cope with the ceaseless challenges and escalating nuclear threat of the U.S. and is thoroughly applying it.

The DPRK is directing big efforts to building a highly civilized socialist nation.

I and the Socialist Party of Benin are convinced that the DPRK would invariably take the road of independence, Songun and socialism pioneered and led by President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il as it is holding respected Marshal Kim Jong Un as a distinguished leader in high esteem.
