Participants in National Meeting of Educators Visit Mangyongdae

Pyongyang, September 4 (KCNA) -- Participants in the 13th National Meeting of Educators visited Mangyongdae, the birthplace of President Kim Il Sung. They laid bouquets before the graves of the President's grandparents Kim Po Hyon and Ri Po Ik and his parents Kim Hyong Jik and Kang Pan Sok to pay silent tribute to them. They looked round historic relics at the President's old home, being briefed on the stories about his revolutionary life and family members. They visited the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt. Taesong and laid bouquets before the bust of anti-Japanese war hero Kim Jong Suk and paid tribute to her and went round the cemetery. They also visited Kim Il Sung University. They went round several rooms of the Revolutionary Museum, E-Library, Swimming Pool. They went round the national educational experimental apparatuses and teaching aids exhibition and education aid exhibition. They visited the Victorious Fatherland Liberation War Museum, apartment houses of educators of Kim Il Sung University, Mirim Riding Club, Munsu Water Park and other places and enjoyed an art performance given by kindergarteners from across the country at the Pyongyang Schoolchildren's Palace. |
