Accidents and scandals taking place in army units in an unbroken chain these days are appalling and shocking, the editorial noted, adding: This is the real picture of the army.

At the paratrooper group on Sept. 2, ten privates had remained in custody for one hour and 40 minutes, their knees bent and with air-tight hempen hoods put on their heads and their hands bound on their backs under the pretext of letting them have POWs experience. This practice left two of them dead.

The commander of the First Army Corps left the area under its control without notice in June and was blind drunk only to be accused by civilians but the military authorities deliberately concealed it, the editorial said, holding the high-ranking officers of the military responsible for the ceaseless accidents and scandals.
