The Brazilian Center for the Study of the Juche Idea posted an article titled "Leader Kim Jong Il and Songun politics" illustrated with his photo.

The article said Kim Jong Il provided his first field guidance for his Songun revolutionary leadership to the Seoul Ryu Kyong Su Guards 105th Tank Division of the Korean People's Army on August 25, 1960.

Under his Songun leadership that over the last more than half a century since then, the DPRK firmly defended its sovereignty and dignity in the confrontation with the U.S. styling itself the only superpower, the article noted.

It said that he fully displayed his traits as the peerless illustrious commander against the U.S. ceaseless provocation moves targeting the DPRK such as the U.S. armed spy ship Pueblo case in January, 1968 and the U.S. large-size spy plane EC-121 incident in April, 1969.

The Group for the Study of Juche Philosophy and Songun Politics of Malta posted articles titled "Immortal Songun leadership feats" and "Day of Songun in DPRK".

The articles praised him for training the KPA into the matchless army and ushering in a new prosperity for the building of a thriving socialist nation.

The South African Group for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism in articles including the one titled "By dint of Songun" said that the DPRK could win one victory after another in the political and military standoff with the U.S. thanks to his Songun leadership.

The Nigerian National Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism posted an article titled "Father of soldiers".
