The Socialist Popular Party of Mexico held a meeting, the Mexican Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism held a seminar on the theme of "DPRK guided by Juche idea" and the Mexican Friend Association for Memory of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il gave a lecture on August 30 and September 1.

On display there were photos of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.

Also displayed there were their works and photos documenting the achievements made by the army and people of the DPRK in building a thriving nation.

Cuautemoc Amezcua Dromundo, chairman of the Central Committee of the Socialist Popular Party of Mexico, said the DPRK turned into a socialist power, independent in politics, self-supporting in economy and self-reliant in national defence under the leadership of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.

Ramon Jimenez Lopez, chairman of the Mexican Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, its Secretary General Arquimedez Perez Bello and other speakers said as the DPRK thoroughly embodied the Juche idea in all fabrics of social life, it could achieve big successes in the economic construction despite all sorts of sanctions and blockade of the imperialists.

Andres Gasca Sanchez, president of the Mexican Friend Association for Memory of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il, said Kim Il Sung was a peerless statesman who founded the DPRK and built it into a socialist fortress, praising him as a political elder who rendered distinguished services for the world socialist movement and the human cause of independence under the banner of independence against imperialism.
